Sugiyama Kosakusho imports products from overseas manufacturers and sells them in Japan.
As the authorized distributor of the German brand bianco di puro, we take responsibility for every stage, from working with the manufacturer to domestic sales and after-sales support.
Our Policy
How we choose our products
We only take on products we truly believe in. To do that, we follow three principles.
We evaluate products firsthand
We meet manufacturers at international trade fairs and also source products online. In either case, we use the actual product ourselves whenever possible. When that is not possible, we examine the specifications and details carefully, and we only proceed with products we are confident in.
We ensure they meet Japanese standards
Before launch, we conduct product testing and confirm compliance with Japanese requirements, including the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act (PSE).
We stand behind them after the sale
Our responsibility does not end at the sale. We handle warranty service and customer inquiries in Japanese.
What We Do
Our role as an authorized distributor
Working directly with manufacturers
We contract directly with the manufacturer and import products as its authorized distributor in Japan.
Meeting Japanese safety standards
We complete the notifications, inspections and labeling required under Japan's Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act and other applicable regulations.
Sales and marketing in Japan
We launch with a pre-sale on Makuake, a major Japanese crowdfunding platform, followed by sales through our own online store. We communicate each product's value and use clearly to Japanese consumers.
After-sales support and customer service
We provide a one-year product warranty from the date of purchase and respond to customer questions and issues in Japanese.
